A shooting with multiple victims has been reported at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in Hawaii.
At this time there are three shooting victims, with two critically wounded, according to local media outlets.
The base is currently on lockdown, but but situation is reportedly contained, with a witness reporting to Hawaii News Now that the shooter has taken his own life.
At approximately 2:30 local time, the PA system urged anyone on base to take cover.
According to Hawaii News Now, a witness described the scene this way: “I kind of recognize that as gunshots,” they said. “I looked out in time to see the shooter, who I assume was a sailor because he was in uniform … shoot himself.”
