Two woman have now come forward in relation to a Fort Carson Soldier who fraudulently passed himself off as a wealthy “sugar daddy” in order to solicit sex from young women- including a minor.
Private David Guerra is facing several felony charges following his arrest earlier this week after he was caught having sex with a minor in exchange for thousands of dollars that never existed in the first place.
According to KRDO, Colorado Springs Police Sergeant Brian Frahm stated that detectives are “getting a lot of information and working on several different leads.”
Two women, 19-year-old Amber Swain and 20-year-old Cheyenne Connor, were both approached by Guerra on a dating app, where he offered large sums of money in hopes of becoming their “sugar daddy.”
“He’s like, ‘Well, how about I offer you $15,000 to have sex with me right now?’ And, I was like ‘No!’” Swain said.
Connor actually met Guerra, deciding to take a friend with her for safety.
“Watch out because you never know what you’re going to run into,” said Connor.
Colorado Springs Police are hoping that others who were contacted by Guerra will also come forward.
Guerra was arrested following several sexual escapades with a 17-year-old, who had warned him in advance that she was under 18 years of age.
