U.S. Army soldier Sgt. Atting Eminue, 24, was shot and killed near a homeless center in Midtown over this weekend.
Sgt. Eminue was walking with a friend to his car near the Peachtree-Pine shelter in Atlanta, GA early Sunday morning when he was shot following an altercation. According to his family, Eminue served three tours of duty in Afghanistan and was a father.
According to Atlanta police, Eminue was shot multiple times and the woman walking with him was shot once in the leg.
Police are currently searching for Eminue’s killer.
