The wife of a US Army Lieutenant Colonel was sacked from her elementary school teaching job and charged with incest after a student recognized her having sex with an underage female on PornHub.
49-year-old California resident Dawn Giannini was taken into custody after a young student -who was watching porn on the internet- came across a video of the fourth grade teacher having sex with a young girl.
Giannini is the wife of Lieutenant Colonel thomas Giannini, an Army Engineer Officer with well over two decades in service and several overseas deployments under his belt.
The sexual relationship, which took place from 2014 to 2015, was between Mrs. Giannini and a family member. The teacher allegedly uploaded several of the encounters to the internet.
“We know the victim was sexually active, and there were a lot of videos that were uploaded,” San Mateo County Steve DA Wagstaffe said. “We know that this occurred in at least two counties. It occurred here in our county, in Redwood City and there was a trip down to Santa Cruz that she took with the victim and there was sexual activity there.”
While it is not believed that the 49-year-old had any sexual relations with her students, investigators are not ruling anything out.
According to the Daily Mail, Giannini appeared in court in late October, facing two dozen charges that include seven counts of lewd act on a child, six counts of oral copulation on a child under 16 years old, six counts of sexual penetration with a foreign object, one count of showing porn to a child and one count of incest.
