The commander of the US Army Combined Armed Support Center in Virgnia was relieved of command on Wednesday, according to a Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) spokesperson.
Major General Paul Hurley was relieved at Fort Lee and is currently the “subject of an official investigation,” though TRADOC spokesman Major Thomas Campbell could not elaborate on the matter.
According to the Army Times, Hurley was relieved due to loss of confidence concerning his leadership abilities.
The Major General will be temporarily replaced by US Army Quartermaster School Commandant Brigadier General Douglas McBride.
