The exodus of officers and enlisted from the United States military under the Biden administration continues to escalate, this time with an Army lieutenant colonel taking his leave over what he has deemed a “Marxist takeover of the military.”

LTC Paul Douglas Hague and his wife, Phipps Hague, informed netizens that he was leaving after 19 years of service.

“First, and foremost, I am incapable of subjecting myself to the unlawful, unethical, immoral and tyrannical order to sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my flesh against my will and better judgment,” Hague, who is stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, wrote in a letter to Fox News. “It is impossible for this so-called ‘vaccine’ to have been studied adequately to determine the long-term effects.”

Hague is one of several officers who have left the military over increasingly draconian policies pushed by the Biden administration, be it over vaccines, excessive use of troops over the January 6 incident or Critical Race Theory being taught to troops.

“I would like nothing more than to continue in the Army to reach my 20 years of active federal service and retire with my pension,” he wrote. “However, I instead will join those who have served before me in pledging my Life, my Fortune, and my Sacred Honor to continue resisting the eternal and ever-mutable forms of oppression and tyranny – both from enemies outside our nation‘s borders, and those within.”

The soft purge of the US military has not been entirely voluntary, however- many enlisted who do not want the vaccine have been separated from service,  as have some deemed to be “extremists.”

The troop departures have not been heavily featured in the news, though some national outlets have carried the stories as they come down the pipeline.

Biden has not proven to be particularly popular with US military personnel, and drew heavy scrutiny for the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Mrs. Hague addressed alleged “fact checkers” who were wishing to debunk the letter.

“He didn’t resign over a vaccine,” she said. “He said he felt the vaccine was being used as a political tool to divide and segregate Americans. He then went on to list many other reasons for his resignation – none of which have anything to do with vaccines.”

Mrs. Hague also stated that the letter’s posted date was originally revised several times prior to August 26, and that LTC Hague forgot to correct the date prior to the August 30 submission.
