Airman found dead at Andersen Air Force Base

An active-duty airman has been found dead at Andersen Air Force Base on Monday.

According to an Air Force statement, 36th Security Forces were notified of the death at the base which is located in Guam.

The cause of death is still under investigation and further details about the Airman’s identity will not be released until the next-of-kin has been notified.

The airman was assigned to the 36th Wing and is believed to have died in private quarters, according to Stripes.
