Air Force B-52 crashes at Anderson Air Force Base


On Wednesday evening the Air Force reported an B-52H Stratofortress bomber crashing during takeoff at Anderson Air Force Base in Guam.

The plane was assigned to the 69th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota.

According to NBC, the place was conducting a routine training mission when in crashed on the base’s flightline at 8:30 a.m. (6:30 p.m. ET).

All seven personnel aboard the aircraft were reported as uninjured.

Local fire crews were called in to help fight the fire.
