A West Point cadet tried to use GoFundMe to bring a porn star to the academy’s winter banquet

A cadet at the US Military Academy at West Point attempted to crowdfund enough money to fly in a favorite porn star to join him at a winter formal event, only for the military to shut the whole thing down.

The unnamed cadet reportedly wanted to bring Diamond Foxxx to the Yearling Winter Weekend, raising nearly $400 before he was strongly advised to cancel his campaign.

The advice given, it seems, was to “protect the values of the West Point Academy.”

“Some cadets and officers were discomforted by the effort to bring Diamond Foxxx to YWW,” one former cadet said of the campaign being canceled.

The USMA would later acknowledge that they ordered the cadet to shut the whole thing down, stating that military personnel are prohibited from “using their positions for personal gain.”

A military brat who grew up knowing service, Foxxx served in the US Navy for one year before being discharged for “sexual misconduct.”

Considered part of the “mature” genre of pornography, Foxxx began her adult film career in her 30s back in 2004, and has since continued her work, despite a brief two-year hiatus due to cervical cancer.

According to the Task and Purpose, the campaign was marketed towards making “a young boy’s dream come true.”
