A fatal truck accident in Germany has cost the life of one and caused untold amounts of damage to several US military vehicles.
The crash, which happened Monday morning on the A3 highway near Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, was reportedly an accident, according to German police.
The US military equipment was parked on the side of the Autobahn when a truck smashed into them.
Several vehicles caught fire, according to the Associated Press, and eight US soldiers were taken to the hospital.
Three US Army vehicles are reported to be damaged.
The deceased driver of the truck has not been publicly identified at this time.
