Blind/Fake Patriotism

“You served in Iraq?…… I still remember 9/11…..Thank you for your service.” If you do not know that 9/11 had nothing to do with the Iraq War you should probably crawl back into your hole.  Thanking someone in the Military should be sincere because they are great at smelling bullshit.

Westboro Baptist Church

If you are unfamiliar with this place of worship; it can be found at www.GodHatesFags.com.  In the military community they are best known for protesting military funerals.  The first amendment protects their right to hate as equally as it does every service member to hate them.

Excuses

“Like assholes everybody has one.”  In the military you are taught to take responsibility and accomplish the mission or task at hand.  You do not make excuses for why it cannot be done because the max effective range of an excuse is zero meters!

VA Hospitals

The place that will give a follow up appointment six months after the first and then realizes the test results are so old the follow up was pointless.  The only way a vet can put up with the VA is if he/she lets them turn him/her into a drug dependent zombie.

Goodbyes

There is one thing the military guarantees and that is being away from home and loved ones.  Military personnel know eventually all good things will come to an end when they have to tell their family “goodbye.”
