The Navy football team will wear custom uniforms for the Army Navy game. The uniforms are sponsored by Under Armour and highlight the phrase Don’t Tread on Me, which is a reference to the American revolution. The uniforms are inspired by a 2002 incident where Secretary of the Navy Gordon England ordered all United States Navy ships to fly the First Navy Jack with the “Don’t Tread On Me” motto and moving rattlesnake in place of the regular Navy Jack.
