ISIS claims to have killed U.S. service member in northern Syria

The Islamic terrorist group known as ISIS has claimed to have killed an American service member near the northeastern Aleppo town of Manbij on Monday morning.

According to the statement released by the Islamic State’s official media wing “Al-Amaq,” the terrorist group killed the “American soldier at the village of Gharatah Al-Saghir” after a violent battle near Manbij.

In addition to killing the American soldier, the Islamic State alleged that their forces killed 9 members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) at Gharatah Al-Saghir.

The Pentagon has yet to comment on this Islamic State claim.  The last reported death of a service member in the middle east was Warrant Officer Travis R. Tamayo, 32, of Brownsville, Texas on September 16th.
